Networking Fundamentals I

This online course introduces the core principles of computer networking, with a focus on how the Internet operates. Students learn how data is transmitted across wired and wireless systems, from basic signal transmission to application-level protocols such as HTTP and BitTorrent.
At the same time, the course also covers fundamental concepts of network design and protocol functionality. Students gain experience interpreting RFCs (Request for Comments) to understand how Internet standards define system behavior and communication.
