Lisa Gonzales
Director of Student Services and Senior Skillbridge Coordinator

Lisa Gonzales serves as the Director of Student Services and Skillbridge Coordinator at CBET.EDU. As the Director of Student Services, Lisa leads the Enrollment and Admissions Services Team, the Career Services Team, and serves as Coach, Mentor, and Instructor as part of our Professional Careers Development Program. Prior to joining the College, Lisa spent nearly 20-years in London serving as a senior executive at Thomas Miller, an international shipping and insurance company. Her various leadership roles at the college have her engaged throughout the student experience and keep her engaged with most of our students from the time they begin their program until they graduate and are placed with one of our industry partners nationally. Lisa likes to remind everyone that she is a proud Londoner at heart and brings their spirit and energy to our team as well as the students we serve.

Lesley Harrington
Career Services Coordinator

Lesley Harrington serves as the Career Services
Coordinator at CBET.EDU. As the Career Services
Coordinator, Lesley works as a liaison connecting
qualified students to industry employers. She is an
integral member of the Student Services team and
directly involved in supporting students preparing to
enter the Healthcare Technology Management (HTM)
career field. In addition to her role in Career Services,
Lesley is one of two instructors assigned to support
students enrolled in the Professional Career
Development Course. Lesley is a proud Texas A&M
University graduate who has spent most of her
professional career in service to others. She served as a volunteer coordinator at the United Service
Organization (USO) and spent many years serving
various non-profits that benefit Military
Service members and their families.

Olivia Carter
Career Services Assistant

Olivia Carter serves as the Career Services Assistant at CBET.EDU. She works in the Career Services team
helping to connect students and alumni with training
and employment opportunities within the Healthcare
Technology Management industry. Olivia also serves as a teaching assistant for the Professional Career
Development (PCDV) Course. Prior to joining the
college, Olivia served as an administrative clerk for the Collin County Clerk’s office, passionately serving her local community. When Olivia is not working, she
enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and
Corgi, Bennett (not always in that order).

The Career Services team provides career guidance and industry job search support to assist our students and alumni to find job placement in the Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) career field. We work to connect qualified candidates with our vast network of industry partners and employers who have available training and employment opportunities.

The Career Services team also offers resume writing support, job interview preparation, and access to the CBET Job Board, located on the Canvas Dashboard. If a student is seeking opportunities in the industry, Career Services team will add them to the Job Placement Assistance email list and the student will receive weekly email updates with new employment and training opportunities across the country.

No. Employers are hiring qualified candidates now, so if you are interested in applying to a position in the industry while you are still enrolled in your Certificate or Degree program, contact the Career Services team and they will be happy to provide guidance and support in obtaining employment.

Yes, the Career Services team works to connect our Military Skillbridge students with OJT opportunities across the country. It is important that you keep us updated on your Skillbridge OJT dates of availability and location preferences, so that we have the most accurate information to connect you with a potential OJT opportunity.
