The Cloud Foundations course is designed to strengthen the students’ understanding of basic cloud infrastructure and services. The students will develop an understanding of cloud solutions for storage, networking, and security and in managing cloud operations with processes, procedures, and improvements. Students will develop a solid foundation in Cloud architecture and design, security, deployment, operations, and support. In addition, this course prepares students for the CompTIA Cloud+ Exam.

Illustrate knowledge of cloud terms and concepts, planning and design of cloud environments, and administering cloud resources.

Develop an understanding of Cloud Storage Management (cloud storage types and solutions) and managing networks in the cloud.

Develop an understanding of securing and troubleshooting networks in the cloud, managing cloud migrations and troubleshooting cloud deployments.

Develop an understanding of cloud automation and orchestration, and cloud security concepts.

Demonstrate an understanding of cloud security management and performance management.

Demonstrate the ability to maintain a cloud environment, implement high availability and disaster recover.
