Oxygen Blender Course

Course Description

This course provides in-depth training on the principles, operation, and servicing of medical oxygen blenders used in neonatal, pediatric, and adult respiratory care settings. Learners will gain a thorough understanding of gas mixing theory, pressure regulation, and oxygen concentration control as it applies to clinical delivery systems.

The online component covers blender functionality, safety considerations, and performance standards, while the hands-on lab guides participants through a step-by-step overhaul process. During the lab, learners will perform preventative maintenance, calibration, and functional verification in accordance with industry’s best practices. Upon completion, participants will be prepared to maintain and restore oxygen blenders to ensure accurate oxygen delivery and patient safety.
