200 Series
Medical Equipment Technician (MET) 200 Series training is offered in both 100% Online and Hybrid formats. The Online option consists of six weeks of instruction with 3–8 hours of engagement per week, including live instructor-led webinars. The Hybrid formats include the same six-week online component, followed by one week of hands-on training at one of our Training Centers of Excellence, and can be completed with or without the VR simulation experience. Course Overview
The MET 200 Series is a six-week intermediate-level training program designed for Biomedical Equipment Technicians (BMETs) seeking to expand their knowledge of healthcare technology management, medical equipment troubleshooting, repair methodologies, and healthcare information systems. The MET 200 Series offers flexible training options including 100% online instruction, immersive XR laboratory content, weekly live instructor-led training (ILT) webinars, and an optional hands-on component.
Through structured modules, students develop practical skills in repair documentation, calibration, regulatory compliance, risk management, cybersecurity, and advanced troubleshooting techniques. Participants apply learned concepts through Repair Action Plans, technical exercises, and instructor-led training sessions designed to strengthen critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills within healthcare technology environments.
