Course Overview

DNV CHOP-B Certification is an individual certification designed for Operations Professionals working in the healthcare environment. The certification is the first in a three-part series designed to enhance healthcare professionals’ understanding and familiarity with NIAHO, ISO, NFPA 101, and NFPA 99 standards.

The training portion of this course consists of three (3) weeks of self-paced, instructor-led training in an Interactive Distance Learning (IDL) environment. During the course, students will engage directly with a qualified instructor and other healthcare professionals, participate in live weekly webinars, and explore contemporary topics related to healthcare accreditation and compliance.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be permitted to participate in an electronic exam administered by DNV. Approved participants must complete and pass the exam with a minimum score of 80%. The exam will be available for one (1) two-hour timed attempt within 14 days of completing the IDL portion of the course.

Although anyone working in a healthcare setting may attend the training, those wishing to sit for the exam to obtain the CHOP-B Certification must complete the application process.
